Pressure Pipe
This is a one week course that involves the installation of pressure pipe systems. Included in the course is cutting pipe, jointing, placement in a trench, pipe cover, testing of the pipe, tapping and repair of service lines.
Graduates must demonstrate adequate skill in making a mechanical joint, laying pipe tapping, testing and repairing service lines. This course also includes study of the National Fire Protection Associaton’s (NFPA) requirements for fire service mains. Those laborers who need the State Fire Marshall’s license for Fire Service Mains may schedule for taking the test after the class.
